“小红豆”在粤剧艺术博物馆表演

Cantonese opera has the reputation of "Southern Red Beans" in China. The kids, who are learning Cantonese opera, are called the "Tiny Red Beans". With their superb performances, a group of "Tiny Red Beans" recently held the audience spellbound in Xiguan (Sai Kwan, the former name of Liwan District). They performed Cantonese opera, Cantonese songs and dances, which are the core of Lingnan culture. They played tour guides in the opera to tell the story of Xiguan, paving a new way for understanding the history and culture of Guangzhou.

近日，一群西关“小红豆”在粤剧艺术博物馆、永庆坊等西关特色景点，以精彩纷呈的粤剧、粤曲、舞蹈等节目，带观众感受岭南文化核心区域的独特风情。本次活动采用多现场直播，“小红豆”化身导游讲西关故事，提供了解广州城历史文化的另一种途径。
