【老广贺春】A colorful Spring Festival in Jiangmen!

江门：特色非遗“闹”新春，五邑春节“年味”浓

#NewYearinLingnan Hanging lanterns, cooking delicacies of glutinous rice, carrying the carp-shaped handicraft on the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year to send blessings, and playing a nine-player volleyball match during the Spring Festival are some of the common customs for the people in Wuyi to celebrate their New Year. In the hearts of the older generation of Wuyi people, the aforesaid customs are well-nurtured as they have been around for centuries.

This year, many Spring Festival folk festivals around Wuyi will resume. Among them, people will hang lanterns to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Yearhere. Dongyi Palace Lanterns, Xinhui Fish Lanterns, and other streamers will continue to add joy to the festival this year. In addition,"Huangdong Rice Pastry" will reach the table of almost every family as the main character of the reunion dinner.

节前挂灯、做“糍”，大年初一带上“鲤鱼”走街串巷送祝福，新春期间打一场九人制排球赛……在老一辈江门五邑人的心中，一套习俗做下来，这个“年”才更有味道。今年五邑各地不少新春民俗节庆活动将恢复举办。其中，五邑民间早有挂灯庆新春的习俗，东艺宫灯、新会鱼灯等流光溢彩，今年将继续为春节添喜气，此外还有团年饭的主角的“黄洞米点”。市民们都期待着，这个“五邑”味道的“年”，过得祥和、欢乐。
