5月7日上午，首届深圳盐田区海洋体育运动会在大梅沙国际水上运动中心开幕。该运动会由深圳大梅沙水上运动俱乐部主办，比赛共举办2天，参赛者约300人，参赛者既有专业选手，又有海上运动爱好者。比赛项目包括了电动冲浪、桨板、帆板、帆船、海洋赛艇、尾波冲浪等。身为海洋城市，高规格海上比赛在深圳并不鲜见，但面向广大海洋运动爱好者、在家门口举办的大型运动会还是首次举办，不少参与者难掩激动。
