Nantou City is considered to be the capital of eastern Guangdong and the gateway to Hong Kong and Macao. With a rich history of a thousand years, the city bears witness to the origin, migration, and return of Shenzhen.

At the 43rd station of "The Great Beauty of Lingnan", we will witness the ancient and majestic charm of Nantou. It is a precious relic of Lingnan ancient culture and an eloquent testimony to the growth of Shenzhen and the Nantou region throughout history.

Nantou was also selected as one of the top ten Maritime Silk Road cultural landmarks in Guangdong. As the administrative center, coastal defense fortress, maritime transportation, and foreign trade distribution hub of the Lingnan coastal areas, Nantou is the historical source of Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao.
